Alrite Steve, I was going to make a new thread for this RT date but then I discovered this one  I start Recruit Training on this date aswell. I think I've seen a few other members on here who are starting on this date too. Lets hope that the group isn't full of complete nobbers :x

it doesn't matter how much you hope and wish there aren't any nobbers, but there will be, and they will cost yuo and piss you off but hopefully they will eventually leave. its unfortunate

We dont have that problem, obviously no one take a metal watch in the field but it's alright round camp.

That is unless there's a new rule when we get back.

Metal watches as in the silver looking ones, dressy style, go for one with a plastic, leather, velcro llike strap, best bet is to get one with timer and stopwatch functions with time hands that glow in the dark. hard to find but they do exist, hoofing for the field

just as a heads up for shit that you need to buy, make sure you don't go cheap like me and buy a shit iron that breaks the first day you are there, get brasso in the pad kind rather then liquid, because i spilled the liquid on my bed and it stained it.lol, Only take one towel because they give you two and later expect you to use them. don't bother taking to many changes of clothes because you don't really wear civis that much. If you want to get ahead of the game, get yourself a AA maglight, a sewing kit, travel toothbrush, disposable razors, unscented soap, some bergen liners, because you haev to get that shit before you go out on exercise first step, thats all i can remember, oh yea and a lighter or two, thats all i can remember off the top of my head. Good luck boys

Break on what? Had a good black metal watch given to me for training so I will definitely take that.
