Hey All,

I have been around theyse forums for a while just never registered back when there was James the future para, Finally decided to register, and get involved

A little about myself, At current ive got little over a year left in college and looking to join the Military, Ive been into AFCO a few times and spoken to various people from different regiments but still undecided on a regiment,

I would say i was fairly fit but still could do with an improvement can run 1.5 miles in around 8 mins:45 i need to improve on longer distances though. :D

Being here probably won't help you decide on what career to follow but it should offer good support and maybe a few pointers in the right direction.

Bump.

Im back, I went to afco not long after that post was made they were not helpful in the slightest, said they would put me on an insight course and it never came around.. i rang them up and popped back in to chase it up and they were negative saying that they would get back to me.

I decided to go to college and joined a weights gym.

Went from 11st at time of posting up to 15. Stopped all running while in college and just did lots of weights. Started working on the doors and didnt think twice about the army.

An old mate who i used to train with doing running, tabs across the beacons etc turned up at the club a few weeks ago and said he was now in 1 para.

We had a good chat and it got me thinking about joining up again. I dont have much direction in my life at the moment.

Going to be some serious thinking about the path ahead and sure i will decide soon. Anyways im babbling now, good to be back.. i will try and be more active and not so much of a lurker this time.
