How far can you swim underwater?

Post by Aqualung »

Hello again,

My personal best is 50m.

I am told that 50m is what the US Navy SEALs have to achieve for their entry tests, but i am told that the UK Marines and Special Forces have to do more than that.
Is that true? Can anyone tell me?

Regards

For the PRMC & POC for the Royal Marines, you do not have to be able to swim, as it is tought during training. It helps though.

Thanks for the feedback.

I was under the impression that to do any kind of Marine or SBS type stuff you had to be able to do about 100m underwater or something...

...with your hands tied behind your back.

...in a bag...
