Just been binned! THREADERS

Post by Rugee »

I had clinic this morning with the RI Physio and PMO and have found out that im being medically discharged. As he doesnt think my ankle will ever be upto commando training and even if i did manage to pass out he would have to down grade to P3 so i'd be a driver or clerk or something similar. And if i did ever manage to pass out and went GD i would end up with serious arthritis at a very young age i.e crutches.

So as you can imagine im mega threaders at the moment. Over a year of my life all gone tits! haha Im looking at becoming a tree surgeon now hopefully if i strap my ankle up and dig out i'll be sorted for the job. At least i'll be active and outdoors with the work.

All the best Ian.

Oh my god mate. That sucks! I'm really sorry to hear that :(

Are you able to join the Army or Navy? Or is that it completely?

Gutted for you mate, especially after a year at CTC.

Farking PMO's eh

but they do have a duty of care to both you and your oppos so if he thinks your ankle aint up to it then he probably found it a tough decision to make and deliver to you.

Good luck in your next career bud and stick around these here forums and help the young 'uns about to goto CTC Im sure your experience is valid.

Tree Surgery wasnt for me, I found the anatomy to hard to understand!

Ian,

I'm real sorry man, its seems so horrible to have your shot taken away from you, when there are so many wannabes out there that dont deserve one and have one.

I wish you all the best in whatever you do mate, and it be great if you can stick around here and help out!

Respectfully,
Rob

Just remmeber you have achieved more in a year than many others your age, you should be proud just to have been hand picked to undertake the training. Good luck for the future, and dont go falling out of any trees.

Thanks all, i don't know what type of medical discharge i have yet, but hopefully it will just be unfit for commando training which rules out the RMR anyway.

Yes sean its me (although you did spell my name wrong :D ) I think he knows yeh i sent him a txt the other day. Congratulations on your brother passing the 30 miler, looks like im the only one out of all 6 of us who will never pass out! :( never mind s*it happens. I allways was the unlucky one anyway haha
