FLO`s MEMORIAL FUND

Post by Guest »

In an earlier thread, whilst the Guy`s were taking a well earned RnR in Iraq, Flo mentioned in one of her post`s, that she would like to start a memorial fund for Fallen Comrades, who had lost their lives in Iraq.

Whilst on another thread, Re the page 3 girl, some joviality has sprung up about the Guys and Galls getting their kit off.

Well, here`s the chance for Flo, to get the Guy`s to get their kit off, hopefully with Help from the Sun Newspaper. I believe the Sun had a bootneck calendar out last year, well next year, the Sun could have the, "Fighting 40 Calendar" of all the Bootneck hunks that have returned from Iraq. Strike whilst the iron is still hot, I would imagine that they would sell like hot cakes, bought the world over, by horny women, and I guess the odd hand full of Gays. this Flo, would give the fund you mentioned, a good start, Hell, we could also have the Yomp 30 calendar, so come on, are we behind Flo, (I know dolly is)

Back to the Fighting 40 calendar, you could have a different troop/company/SQ whatever, for different months, culminating in a unit bollocky buff phot for december, the CO, Adj, RSM etc could sign a limited number of copies, to be auctioned off. now, get you thinking caps on, and give us your views. and shut that door, theres a draft

I was so tempted to edit the word cute out and replace it with 'wide-load', but held back at the last minute.

Just a quick thought, instead of getting the sun to do it why dont we keep it amoungst ourselves and I could get the unit phot to do something, we could like you said get different blokes from all SQs, but at least all profits could go through the FVF which would give them a high profile status and standing within the corps, seeing as nobody else has so far offered to start a memorial fund for the fallen. I'm sure somebody amoungst our group of former bootnecks, wives wannabes and everybody else oh and Dolly, must know someone who is in the printing industry. Even if we have to do another sponsored event to raise the initial cash output for printing. Then seeing as we are a global forum each person could be given a set number of calenders to sell in their area. Then we use each individual persons local media to promote the cause.....what say ye.

Flo... I am working on a book at the moment and the production costs (mine for the layout, scanning etc are free) are massive... looking at a lot of money! I can get some quotes if you like... what about the girls in the unit? Not naked but suggestive in rig... More blokes would buy that!!

Combat pants and a vest top... or bra... tasteful but enough to appeal to the masses who like a pretty girl in uniform and are feeling patriotic... Naval Nurses in a bath of swarfega for the out and out perverts of course...
