Its still the same. The reason for this is they way the rounds are ejected by the working parts. They come out of the right side of the rifle, so if you fire from the left shoulder all you will get is a hot brass, 5.56mm empty case in your face.

Do you reckon i could be issued a m16, pathfinders and SF use them and they use the same round as SA-80. Even the FAMAS is left handed

Yes, yes you could.

Ask nicely and they will give you a anti-matter reaction, anti-gravity amplification, propulsion thermionic electron gun. One careful owner, only dropped once, I believe it belong to one of those green guys off Mars Attacks.

yep, even though the ejected rounds get hit forward you would still be unlucky to get some hot brass in your eye.

Not to mention a nasty cocking handle removing the majority of your teeth for the pleasure of firing from the left shoulder!

Flynn, don't worry about something so trivial, have you ever fired an assault rifle, I would bet you haven’t, there for you have no base of experience with it, so will learn, just like everyone else to fire from the right shoulder.

It really doesn’t feel that weird, oh and please let me know when you ask a sgt major for an M16 I want to be there to watch

That reminds me. During my PRMC we were shown a few funny videos that are on the computors down at CTC. One, titled 'Why Palestinians Throw Rocks' was f@#k hilarious. If I find it anywhere on the net ill post it.
