FITNESS REVERSIBILITY

Post by lilsuvv »

From my old school days as I remember, once you have built your fitness up it is easy to re gain it back a lot easier then if you weren't fit at all. Is this true because I have been out of training for a month beacuse of my arm. Just really interested and need as much help as i can get. I have my PRMC on July 26th and have been back in training for 2 weeks now.

Need to know if my fitness is easy to regain back, as i was very fit before my injury

I have my PRMC on July 26th
4 days away from my birthday.
Well you got to get fit anyway so i wouldn't worry about it but i think you should be able to build up your fittness quite easly. But personaly, i don't really know. Somtimes i do tiny bits of fittness, like the odd bit here and there just hoping it will actully help my body get the idea it's sopposed to be fit :-?

Lilsuvv, you will get back to your former levels of fitness very quickly.

StinkyFurby, the randomness of your posts never fails to make me laugh you must be insane.

Im not sure on this one. I know very well that you loose your fitness alot quicker than you gain it; but im not sure if the body can easily climb to a level of fitness you had in the past. I think you are right though, because of a number of things:

1. The mental side, by this i mean you knowing how fit you were before, therefor easily believing that a better state of fitness is easy to achieve.

2. At the peak of your fitness your body was addapted to this. Just the level achieved making the body perform at its best. Your body will also have a memory of how fit you where. By this i Mean VO2 max, muscle mass, suppleness and so on...

So after all that, yeh i'm pretty sure it will be easier, but not easy!

lilsuvv, July 26th is my best mate's birthday. You couldn't have wished for a better omen so, good luck, give it your all and let us know how you get on. :D

Stinky, your birthday is pencilled and underlined in my diary. I for one, will be out on the lash in your honour on July 30th.

PM me your address and I might even send you a card!

Ok, all be honest here.
Say i do, if you think i'm either werid or a 65 years old.
Please be honest because i could be werid and gone in the head and not know it and think i'm doing everything normal.

Don't be silly Stinky, as from what I know you, you are just as normal as anyone else I know! being interested in the Corps and even talking about it must make you a little normal..

Thanks for your support!

I remeber when i was about 10 me and my friend both wanted to be comedians when we were older. He turned into a complete drugy and i turned diffrent. I was more muture then everybody else in year 7, but because my life wasn't based on TV and music, i was diffrent. so they laughed at me :( .Once i had got used to the laughing i started making jokes and turned into the top comedian in the year. But i got the feeling people were laughing at me rather then the jokes simply because i was not the joke telling kinda guy. Now in my social life I make loads of jokes but not making them obvious and people just think i'm actully that way, and start to think i'm werid. I dont know why you all think i'm werid though because i'm not trying to be funny.
