decisions

Post by majc2213 »

the situation is i need to have an operartion to clear out my nose after it was broken. sounds nice i know. the problem is i wont be able to do any physical activity for about 8 weeks after the op. the hospital keep on at me to arrange for a date for the op, and im stuck because i cant decide whether it is best to a) have the op now and then train up for PRMC. although i really wanna get my PRMC done as its been a year of applying now, on and off! b) do my PRMC and if i pass have it done before i start basic, all though i dont know if they will be happy waiting for me. or c) say f@#k it and leave it
the nose thing doesnt really affect my breathing to the extent that training is affected, its just a bit anoying sniffing all the time.
i know the final decision is obviously mine but i thought id ask for some opinions as you guys are all in the same boat, trying to get to CTCRM as soon as possible.

cheers

Do it before PRMC. Between PRMC & starting training your fitness levels will be expected to increase. If you have the op after PRMC your fitness will probably decrease. Plus, think of all the mates you'll make on PRMC. You'll want to start training at the same time as them.

Just get it done. It may add on another 8 weeks but what is that in the big scheme of things? If you put it off you will probably regret it.

My 2p.
