Pay during basic....

Post by Tennant »

I wanted to know what pay you get in Basic, I know it's £219 a week, but does most of that get taken off you?

Also Is there anytime to spend your money at all during the 12 weeks?

Thanks

from what ive been told you get £50 a week cash in hand for the first 8 weeks and then you get your normal pay plus what they owe you from the last 8 weeks into your bank account

Also, Do you get a week off before starting phase 2 training?

Thanks

I start June the 27th. I might be wrong about the pay but thats what i have been told.

My mate got a week off between phase 1 and 2 and i think JJ on here only got the weekend off, i think it depends on what trade your doing.

...... and don't forget to pay your old mum (or whoever) back all the cash they've loaned you when you've been short!

My son had a week's leave after Phase 1 last year (Artillery) which peed him off as his mate (REME) got three weeks.

I wish you well ..... and all the others about to set off on training.... and hope you benefit from it as much as my lad did, and is continuing to do.

Good luck to all and if you need some bulk at your Passing Out, me and my mate are very good at that sort of thing...... just say the word! :D

you get paid £80 xash in your first week, after that you get paid £150 by BACS transfer every 2 weeks until about week 7 or 8, then you will start getting proper pay checks,in your 11th week you will get all the money you are owed paid into your account in a lump sum, which will be about £600

Which i'm guessing will be spent up by the time you get to phase 2 after leave.

It's all bit wrong here, well to my experience, first 10 weeks you get 40 quid a week but thats ok because you have no time to spend it. from then onwards you get your monthly wage. its good at first because you have like 1.200 in the bank waiting for you only trouble is i onlygot the weekend off after phase one finished and phase 2 started!
If its not rainning its not trainning
