I have been looking into the F.F.L. and I keep h ereing all about its pay. But for some reason every were I go to check the amount that you get paid it is all different. I have seen any were from 900something all the way up to 5000something all from day one up till the end of your 5th year.
Does anyone know for sure what the "great" pay is? And to the guys on here that were in the F.F.L. what is you rtake on it? Is it worth it?
Thanks again for any help.

The Legion and its pay??
Your pay in the legion depends on the regiment you're serving with, where you're serving and your rank. So if you're in 2REP, stationed at Calvi (Corsica) you'd get more than someone stationed in mainland France, but less than someone in 13 DBLE, stationed in Djibouti.
According to the legion's recruitment webpage, starting pay for a legionnaire is currently Euros 1033 per month. People don't typically join the legion for the money unless they have absolutely nothing to begin with.
To be earning Euros 5000+ per month, you'd need to have a high rank and be stationed in Djibouti... bear in mind overseas postings aren't very likely for at least the first couple of years.
A useful source of info is the Cervens Legion board, where you can often find Anciens (ex legionnaires) to answer your questions.
