right i have passed RCBB, got my RCB in june, gonna apply for university sponsorship. hoping to go into paras so i heard you have to pass certain courses before paras will sponsor you through UNI and sandhurst.....just wondering which order all this stuff happens. careers didnt explain it very well, see if i can get an answer from you quicker than i can through careers........please help

I am speaking from applying for a commission at the moment and not for university sponsorship but I hope this helps.

You need to get onto the your careers adviser to arrange a meeting with the Paras. You will then go on a one day POI (interview) and if they like you they will invite you back for a POC (potential officers course) at a later date. This can be done before or after RCB depending on availibilty of spaces.

I wasn't aware you need a regiment or corps sponsor for university. I thought you just needed a pass at main board and a place at Sandhurst. Am I wrong?
