I think there is one RSC in london, one in litchfield and one in glencorse, it depends on where you live.
The testing isent that demanding its all personal bests so you can only give what you got.

Hi Taylor,
The RSC you attend depends on where you live. If you're from up north, I believe you go to Glencourse in Scotland. In the Midlands, and including Wales you go to Lichfield. I'm not sure if there are any other Selection centres. Maybe someone else knows?
Selection isn't too bad. You are there for about 24 hours and do a variety of physical tests. None of these are particularly hard, just give it your best, thats what they are looking for.
This subject has been covered many times before, so if you want more info use the search button.
What job are you interested in?

RSC is situated at 5 ATR's (Army Training Regiments) over the whole country. Depending on where you live decides which one you will go to. I was at ATR Litchfield last week, which is based in Staffordshire. The AFCO give you a booklet on what tests are performed. Its very relaxed, but disaplined such as hands by your side no talking when they say etc.
Get on "PARADE"

A nice whole pass, except i missed the run time for the Paras by 22 secs. So going back in 2 weeks now after the Sgt PtI told me how to knock 40 secs off in three weeks, he said i wasn't doing any Anaerobic exercises, thats where i went wrong. Everything else was up upto standard, i was interviewed by a Major in the Paras and he said i am what they are looking for in a recruit, but he can't offer me the job yet unless i come back and complete the run. I could of gone Infantry but i said NO, to which he smiled and said i want to be shaking your hand soon offering you a job in the parachute regiment :dBoxingmad wrote:How did you get on, Grimey?Grimey Vibes wrote:RSC is situated at 5 ATR's (Army Training Regiments) over the whole country.
