Duh, your government like ours only seeks the slave minded, non-productive garbage for the most part. A Gurka is probably too self motivated and self sufficient. We have a statue in our harbor that implies we only want filthy low life scum for now on. Ask Wholley, he had to make a deal with Rumplestilskin to get in because he actually could read, write, work and think for himself.

I was walking past someone on a computer yesterday and someone was playing one of those wierd internet games...but one of the advertisments was a competition for a "green card"(?) to live and work in the USA? surely they can't be giving away places in their country through competitions....can they? Or is there something i don't know? I just thought that was really odd

Most of our Asians strangely don't seem to ask anyone for anything and most look to be legal. They all have some sort of business where I live. It is the all the above others and unknowns as Wholley stated we seem to get and seem to be the problem. There are a flood of Russians all of a sudden and they are just white trash many of them, you can't tell who is what but you can certianly see who is trash and tell where there once was space there isn't. We have a population growth of a 3 rd world country. Our INS isn't that efficient, so we have mad illegals roaming at large and no they don't have a right to be here. 50 years and the USA will make Serbias war pale in scale.

No, not the one issued by a bank, the one you get from USCIS (formerly the INS) by 'investing' at least $250.000 in the U.S.
Many, most in fact, are held by Asians. Most high end condominiums in Alameda are owned by Asians.
How do you 'plop' 250K on some American bureaucrat's desk (no, that's not how it's 'invested', but I'm making a point) so easily when you come from China?
Because most big rollers are Chinese... But there ain't no triads, either in China or here, oh no. So how?
Next time you go buy a magazine, check out the porn section. "Asian beauties", "Oriental honey" etc. Even ole' Larry Flint ('Hustler' magazine) got the hint and started his own Asian porn magazine a few years ago, 'cause the market for 'yellow fever' is huge. And that's just one thing of many, tip of the iceberg.
They prey on Vietnamese, Cambodians, Koreans and other Asians. Gambling, drugs, porn, prostitution, organ harvest you name it. But they keep it in-house.
Go to Chinatown, doesn't matter which American city's Chinatown. See how many 'trade and commerce' offices there are, and travel agencies? What do they do? What are they?
They're banks, many of them. Guy shows up, gives a piece of paper with some animal drawn on it (elephant, tiger, whatever) and is handed a suitcase over the counter. In the case: $500K, maybe a million, maybe less. That's it. No words, just a drawing. Maybe they have a new system now. But probably not much different. There's still a 421 watching.
They have 5000 years of 'perfection' behind them, what do we know? Are they law abiding? They abide by their code. Our laws are... well, drafted and enforced by short-sighted politicos for the most part and flat-foots strangled by liberals and conservatives alike.
Who cares if they devour each other as long as they stay out of the gated communities with signs from armed security companies guarding white folk four miles away, with Bach playing in the background?

As for this thing about most of our asylum seekers being asian... Like Whitey said about asians in the USA, a majority of our asians are legit and run businesses. There are more asians that run shops taxi firms etc. over here than there are illegal alien asians claiming benefits. There are a lot of asians here, but most of them were born here. In my experience, most asylum seekers are from Kosovo, Iraq, and other places like that. There are still asian immigrants, but a lot of people see a Pakistani or Indian and think "immigrant" when it isn't the case most of the time. If they were born here they have as much right to be here as a white man with an Irish name. (nobody is saying "send 'em back to Ireland" are they?) especially when they are the son/grandson of an Indian who fought alongside the British in WW2, as is the case a lot of the time.
I hate the young Paki gangs (sorry PC brigade I know I shouldn't shorten "Pakistani" to "Paki" as it's racist, blah f***ing blah) as much as anyone else, but aren't the white gangs just as bad?

Despite the fact that the chinese and whoever are very nice and legit, which im sure they are.
Shouldn't there be SOME sort of pride in being an anglo saxon? These other cultures have lots of pride, which we have no problem letting them show. They grow business and they expand. While we (thanks to abortion and selfishness) have a dwindling birth rate that will eventually turn us into a minority.
