Greyfox

Post by 9901637 »

Hi,

has anyone got any info on the ultrasecret american SF unit classified as 'Greyfox' as they are apparently even more secretive than detachment-D (delta force) and are involved in deepcover ops, specifically fighting al-queda

cheers

Grey fox are the CIA military unit used for undercover work and operate as lone undercover units, Once they pass selection (think it envolves growing a ridiculously long beard).

Once complete, they draw a turban and and AK47 from stores, which they learn how to fire into the air.

Training also consists of correct use of a prayer mat, navigation (to find east) and lectures one to eight on cave dwelling before moving on to exercise 'Turban Warrior' where they put all this into exercise.

Grey Foxes can also operate as a small Turbanator unit known as 'Golden Eagles'

The Russians also have a similar unit known as 'Red Squirrel'.

These units have experianced a lot of problems passing intelgience information since Trigger Happy TV blew their cover.

However, I know absolutly nothing about the back door terrorist unit know as 'Brown Hatters'

If the "Greyfox" organisation really exists - do you think that anyone is going to give you any details?

sneaky beaky, they said that about delta force (which is still officially not in existence according to the US DOD) but stuff always comes out about them (not always accurate mind).

I suspect that greyfox are currently in their quiet development period, just as Delta force was before desert one. They will land a big victory (like bagging osama or mullah omar) and thier secrecy will be blown.

cheers

Well not many people know about the top secret indoor mortar range, or the 1500 mtr long test for shooting the browning 9mm pistol on (it's a hell of a challenge for the PW's to calulate your grouping).

If Greyfox exists, then it is the Operation name used by the US forces for the hunt for Osama. At worst you've been got on one hell of a bite.

I heard that it's so Hush Hush even the members of Greyfox don't know about it!

Apparently the underwater firing range is a real Pain. You have to be able to hold your breath for 45 minutes and achieve a one inch grouping firing a 12 Bore Shotgun from 45 yards distance!

These Guys are unreal, Hey? The Unit Logo/Cap badge is a Cookoo Clock so I heard.

Pardon the intrusion. Greyfox aren't that supersecret. They are mentioned in Mark Bowden's book "Killing Pablo". They are an electronic surveillance unit. They listen in on transmissions and the such and pass the info on to SF units. And they are military, not CIA.

That's what you think

I heard they were originally called Red Fox but due to the size of the Grey fox and it's aggressive eating and breeding habits it has almost wiped out the Red Fox... :P 8)
