YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!RSC was great!!loved every minute!!
i passed, got my 1st job choice, but didn't get my certificate yet, because the docs(who are pleased with my knee),still faxed my stuff off to a "specialist" to get clearance...but they said everything should be ok!
the tests are all quite easy,really...one of the lads kept on calling the nco's "mate"...
my run time was 10:43,which i'm not so pleased with...but the officer today at the interview said i'd be fine, just a bit more training before basic...any questions??i'll answer them as soon as possible...
Army - here i come

Well done JJ!!
Can you clear up the matter of what tests are acutally undertaken at RSC?
I have heard so many conflicting reports as to what is done I do not know what to believe anymore...

just came from the AFCO...'cause of my "superb" report from RSC he's gonna help me out...he's managed to reserve a place for basic on the 25th october!!just have to clear up the medical matter,he's also takin' care of that.so i think everything will be ok!
as for the tests...: 1st day:medical(very old doc!!!) heaves, lift strength(one on a platform, just pull up the bar and your strength is measured, and also the 30 and 55 kg lift ),back extension(you get strapped into machine and have to lean back as hard as you can)...then they give you a gym session(warm up,different relay races in groups, very good fun!!)in the evening they tell you about the grenade.thats about it...
2nd day: grenade test(very easy!!!!),1.5 mile run(warm up is a walk/jog round the course),after that jog back to the gym, stretching excersizes...
then into the green overalls, helmet on,off outside for the grenade lesson and team tasks(excellent fun!!),after that a quick shower, then off for the interview...
so...no bleep test,no press ups,no sit ups...any other questions???i'll be glad to help...
