Medical

Post by andy 16 »

Hi everyone ive just passed my entry test and interview, a few weeks ago i had my medical and and i mentioned that i had asthma as a kid so they didnt pass me and want to write to my doctor. I havent used my medicine since i was about 7 and im now 16, but the other day my mum told me that a inhaler was prescribed in my name about 2 years ago but it wasnt for me, im actually going to see the doctor myself and tell him whats happened and hopefully he will give me a note saying im clear, i just want to know what everyone thinks. Do you think i will pass?

Well mate, if you haven't used your inhaler in like 9 years you should be fine. I think the time period is only 4 years. As for this prescription 2 years ago, you should be able to sort it out if you legit haven't used any meds since you were 7. Best of luck mate.

Yeah i thought i might have a problem with having been prescribed one 2 years ago, ill just see what the doctor has to say, my mum is a nurse and she knows the doctor well and she thinks everything will be ok. Plus ive got mates who are also going for the royal marines and one of them had the same problem, he was prescribed one and he has never had asthma so he just got a note from his doctor and now hes waitin for his prmc, thanks anyway for replyin
