Hey
I'm off for an interview with an rm captain soon (a month or so) and as this is my first major interview (just went down for informal chats before) I'm a little apprehensive as what to expect.
I realise that I have to have knowledge on rm and current affairs, but what questions are they going to ask me about myself?
Also what kind of clothes should I go down in, formal or informal. Formal would be a lot harder as I do not have a suit .
Thanks, Phil

Ive only had a recruit entry interview but the some of the things they asked me about myself were quick questions no right or wrong answers just things like.
What are your opinions on the Iraq war.
What would your mum think about you getting sent to war.
What are your hobbies and interests.
What is in your bedroom.
Who lives with you and how do you get along and what interests do you share.
I had mine with a RN CPO not a RM.
I bought a suit just before my interview and wore it to PRMC and they expect you to wear one for the start of basic.
You'll need one at some point along the entry process so its always a good thing to make the effort and look smart.

Learn the summary of the training syllabus from the green booklet.
Learn the dates on the history of the corps pages.
Learn some of the VC's, they don't ask you, but it's handy to know as you can bring it up anyway.
Learn where the commando units are based.
Learn about the badge.
Learn the PRMC schedule.
It's all in the green booklet. What I did was right a few pages of bullet points out one after another to remember the dates and training syllabus. Worked a treat.
Hope it goes well for you, good luck!
