In terms of travel opportunities they will go wherever the RAF is capable of deploying. With their main remit (ultimately) to defend RAF flying assets they travel opportunities are limitless. However, for training Exs they tend not to do the major jollies that the Army do - at the end of the day they are contstantly employed on Ops.

re trainin

in the regiment you can guarantee training in some very strange places

some years ago[ 1985 or 86] some of the lads ended up in an amphibious ex

cruising around arran and did a landing somewhere ???

cant remember the name of the ex purple something or other

the main thing was that one lad won the kareoke comp on board

gunners have all sorta skills
