I'm joining REME this year and should be re-attending RSC Pirbright around mid April. Any idea when your RSC's going to be?

BEWARE THE ARMY DOCTORS!

Good luck buddy

altough the docters feeling your balls is bad, the problem will be if you get a docter that hears heart mumours, you'll be pulled from selection sent home then cleared a couple of weeks later at another hospital. Its happened to loads of people and its a huge hassle and very annoying

Thats what happened to me - I endured all the ball grabbing, feet touching, hopping and then the old bugger asked about my fitness, looked at his diagram of the heart and said, 'you have a heart murmer'

Then he said something about my heart and one of the valves which he got completely wrong. He said the Pulmonary valve was the valve blood passed though before going to the rest of the body. Its actually the aortic valve it goes through to get to the rest of the body.

Made me think 'do you actually know what your talking about you old bas***d' but I kept my mouth shut and went home.

They do alot of checks on your knees and anckles though and ask about past problems. So just be honest with him. To check your knee joints and stuff he'll make you squat down on the floor, hop along then shuffe backwards.

Have fun.

They grab you by the testicles and ask you to cough ..the reason being that it indicates previous or current hernia problems.
FAR AWAY SO CLOSE!
