im going for my first interview on the army on 1st april, i was just wondering if i would leave this year in september at the rate iam going or if i will have to wait till next year? thank you

The ACIO will advise a timescale.

when you go will be dependant on how your fitness is, if you pass RSC first time or second time etc i believe the average time scale is between 3-6 months.

Good luck! my recruit metn has taken 6 months already and i still need to go to recruit selection center!

I started the application process back in November, now waiting to go see specialist about 'heart murmer' and then re-attend RSC.

Careers guy said if i pass second time round I'm looking at around mid August before I start basic.

Hope that gives you an idea.

Yeah thanks, I don’t know whether I want to go this year. Well I do, but my family and friends don’t want me too, Its really starting to annoy me :x
