Military Cross!

Post by Black Rat »

My warmest congratulations to Sgt Mark Cox on being awarded the Military Cross.

Best wishes to, for CSgt Ken Wonnacott for the award of the Q.C.V.S.

No doubt there will be a few more arriving soon!

I bet there will be a few sore heads in the mess!

I'm sorry guys but has the military world left me behind. I thought that the Military Cross was for officers only. However, I wont take the glory away from anyof the lads - it was a bloody good show by all of them - done as only Royal can do it.

Medals

Post by Brian E »

One of the first things Tony Blair did on becomingh PM; was to ensure ALL RANKS received the same medal recognition.
Hence non officers now receive the MC instead of the MM.
