Lord Hutton is to publish his findings later this month into the death of the UK Government Weapons Specialist Scientist, Dr David Kelly.

I personally think that everybody is going to get the blame and yet no one person will carry the can, with perhaps the exception of the Defence Minister the Rt Hon Geoff Hoon MP who will resign his position.

I feel that Dr David Kelly's family might have something to say when all is done and dusted and it will not bode well for Tony's Cronies.

Anyone have any thoughts before the findings are made public?

I suppose ultimately BLiar is the person responsible, he chairs the Cabinet Meetings, he appoints the Head of the Civil Service and he appointed Hoon the Buffoon but I do think that the media/TV/radio didn't help, especially so the BBC. But it was Blair's decision to send the armed forces to war under the threat of WMD, I notice today at Shaibah/Basrah he made a gaffe by saying the Weapons of Mass Distraction when addressing the troops instead of Weapons of Mass Destruction.

On a tangent to this thread I see that Halliburton has lost the contract to supply oil to the US armed forces as they have deliberately overcharged by $61 million, I wonder of Mr Cheyne got a cut?

I wonder what the Kelly family are thinking or whether they will be told anything in advance of the reports findings. I wouldn't mind betting that B Liar will be walking on water though.

I personally think that Blair went to war for the completely wrong reasons. Saddam was an evil dictator and like all evil dictators he has to be brought down. Blair told the public that we were under threat from WMD and that was our reason for going to war, not the fact that Saddam was a complete b*****d.

There was definatly alot of "dirty work" going on behind the scenes and i doubt Hutton will reveal what was going on. However, i think it will reveal alot and we will just have to wait and see what effect it has on the government, and whether we might see a Tory government at the next general election from Huttons findings??

I definatly feel alot of people have lost faith in Tony Blair. I think he is a strong PM and has a weird resemblance to Mrs Thatchers rule, but i am not socialist so i don't agree with many of Tony's policies.
