advanced training???
hi i have selection on the 8th of dec and and attending AFC on the 4th of jan to train for the infantry (the devon & dorset regiment) i was wondereing if any body here knows if i can at any time during my 42 week training or later decide to do PARA training as an addition this is a big concern for me so replys would be much appriciated cheers

Transferring to the Paras
The opportunity to attend P Coy and transfer to the Paras from another regiment should remain open in the future.
Don't worry about that now, though. Just get stuck into your 24 or whatever weeks at Catterick and enjoy what the Devon and Dorsets have to offer. If you still think you're missing out on greener grass after a while in the battalion, perhaps years, then give it some serious thought and go through he channels. How do you think you'd be received in the battalion if you were RTU'd from P Coy?
