When I go down to my AFCO to hand in my application form, will I ned to take anything with me? eg: driving licence, birth certificate

Will I need to do anything when I go down?

You should get told what to take down there. But i needed my passport, national insurance number, mug shots!! and Nhs number hope it helps you.

i got told to take-

-nhs number
-national insurance number
-passport
-photos
-original birth certificate

i think that about covers it

How do I get my NHS number?

I was told that id need my NIN, birth certificate and passport.

its on your Medical card wich you get when at your first visit to the doctors ever!!!! i think. they expect you to still have it 18 years later. your doctor should be able to give you it though.
stuck in a rut, unsure about the future, unsure about the military lifestyle, for a while anyway

medical 30 march - PASSED
interview 30 march - PASSED
PJFT - 11 april - PASSED 9:18
PRMC - 7th - 10th JUNE. PASSED
foundation - 29th August

When does all the numeracy and english tests come into it.

Are they difficult? :-?

I'm not sure if you'll need to take all that stuff with you. They asked me to bring my passport etc. with me to the written test where they photocopied everything and checked all the forms out there.

The written test isn't that difficult, they give you a practice booklet with example questions. Just remember to practice a few long multiplication questions and such, for the maths section. :wink:
