USING 'WORD'
Somewhere I read that I can use 'Word' to check my spelling and then 'cut and past' to enter posts.
Since my spelling is atrosiou atro cr*p could someone tell me how do this?
Bearing in mind that I'm not relly computer literate and a bit thick.
Thanks in advance

Chunky
Try www.iespell.com
It's free to download, and will spell check any page, of anything that you have displayed. Once it's loaded there is an 'iespell' avatar on your Explorer tool bar. You can then select 'English UK' from the drop down menu. There are full instructions on the iespell web site. Even I managed it!

Chunky, open a word document. Vent your spleen. Use spellcheck to proof read. Highlight the whole piece (Click left button and hold down while dragging the pointer over the document), right click for the drop down menu, select 'copy'.
Return to Military Forums, select 'Reply to Topic', when the box opens left click so that the cursor is showing in the box, right click for the drop down menu and click on 'Paste'. Your text will appear and be available for any further editing.

You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

Chunky, imagine someone suggesting you should buy something!!!!! Perish the thought. Don't they know that a Yotkshireman is someone who can buy from a Jew and sell to a Scotsman and still make a profit.

That`s one way to do it. I once promised to post a step-by-step guide with particular relevance to replying to topics on these forums. Sorry I’m a bit late, mate, but here goes.Chunky, open a word document.
Your text will appear and be available for any further editing
Type your reply, at the top of the screen are a minus sign, an X and two squares (reduces the current page size) Click on the two squares. Now open Word and again, click on the two squares. You now have reduced versions of Word and Militaryforums showing on your screen. (If you want to, you can move the edges of the screens so they don`t overlap, by dragging them to where you want. Word on one side, Militaryforums on the other, but it`s not necessary)
Highlight your reply by left clicking as you drag your pointer over the text only. It will appear with a dark green background, when you release the left button.
Next, drag the highlighted text across to the word document, by holding down the left button again as you move it over. The text will go from the reply box and appear in the word document. If you want to, click on the two squares in word and it will fill your screen again.
Click ABC to spell check, but beware of some of the grammar suggestions, ignore them if they don`t apply. When you’ve finished, at the top left hand corner of the screen it says "File Edit View" etc. Click on Edit and a drop down menu appears, click on "select all" and your text will now be highlighted again, reduce the screen size as before, and drag the highlighted text back into the reply box.
It will go from word and appear as highlighted text in the box. Click anywhere on the text and it will go back to being ordinary text. Click the squares again and Militaryforums goes back to full screen.
It’s easier to do than it sounds here. Print off this post to use as reference, try a short message using these instructions. Once you’ve done it a few times, it becomes second nature.
Aye,
