yeah sure. Hope you got broadband or you'll be downloadin for hours lol. You people know wat DivX is? Its a high quality, low file size video codec that you'll need to watch it. Not very big in size. Download the latest (ad-free) version of it from http://www.divx.com. I should have it done by this time tomorrow
I've done all the initial paper work and was offered my aptitude test, interview and medical in Belfast but am unable to go up until my easter uni holidays. When I pass them I will ask to sit the PRMC in Late July/August and Foundation in march 04'. All in all my fitness and PRMC requirements are OK. I can do 10 pull ups, 45 pushups and 95 situps in 2 mins. My running is at 3mi in 22mins. I do want to be able to do all the max requirements after I am hanging so I will continue to train. My focus will be after seeing the PB lad yesterday will be on Fartlek, sprint and endurance style running with excercises from the RM Circuit Traing Book thrown in.
How about you?
Doesnt matter bout the doanload size as College hsa Broadband and I spend so much time at the Comps anyway...

Im 16 and havent really got far into my training. I can run 3 mile comfortably in under 20 mins but need to work on my sprinting and all upper body exercises. I can do 6 pullups and in 2 mins bout 30-35 pressups which I know isn't rite good but I shud av a while to train before my PRMC. I've got my interview on wednesday but I avnt made my mind up on a PRMC date choice yet. Dont want to risk not having enuff time to get up to full fitness but I don't wanna leave it too long either.
Interview should be simple too so long as you know:
1. Corps history: When founded etc, battle honours, the G&L itself, VCs...
2. Structure of 3 Commando Brigade and all attached army units...
3. The Location of 40, 42, 45 and the structure of a commando in terms of troops, sections etc. Nice to know who is CO aswell JIC.
4. Where the Royals are today and yesterday (recent history) and names of operations in Afganistan
5. Why you want to join. Possibly the hardest question to answer truthfully without sounding like a twat.
6. What you could give to the Corps inreturn for them taking you on.
7. What specialisation you might like to try out for.
8. Basic Current Relations ie Minister for justice, PM, Minister for defence, world issues, trouble hotspots, where great britain has economic interests...
Know all this and you will look good and sound good.

I would have preferred to go for a POC intstead of PRMC but I kind of chose the wrong course after high school. I should have done A levels but chose a 2 year GNVQ Advanced ICT couse worth 2 A levels. I studied for a few months and recently I quit because there was no discipline or organisation in the course wat so eva and there was no teaching at all.
