The Ship

Post by harry hackedoff »

Hands up, anyone who remembers the beeb doing a series on H.M.S. Brilliant.
Er, no. I don`t want you to put your hand up anyone who remembers.
I want you to put Your hand up if You remember.
Thank you.
Well the beeb have made a sort of Big Brother meets Capt James Cooks` Endeavor.
And bloody good it was too, Including a Buster Bloodvessel look-a-like from the Andrew.
Hope it turns out to be as good as "Brilliant"
One fat chiefy to femail guest at Embassy reception when asked "and what is it you do, onboard?"
"I`m the Ships` Gynaecologist"
Priceless.

I applied for the position as Ships Gyneacologist but failed the interview as I'm still completing my PHD (Plovers, Herons and Ducks). I was advised by a lady member of the board that although brains were preferred, my act of being a bronzed knuckle dragger with no wits, but a nice tight bum placed me in the final few for selection. Her interview technique was most impressive, and now I'm going to password lock my computer to prevent my boss, and nurse finding out where I was for the last week.
You should talk to somebody who gives a f**k.

What he is in Eastenders too? You be telling us next he sings...

I dont really know how you can tell, they all look the same to me -

What Fat knackers, Mutley?

No, Matelots - well er actually, I know they are all fat knackers too,

The difference with Chiefs is that they all have as much humour as Mike Tyson's cell mate having just dropped the soap for the third time

On the note of the series, there's a thing in the Navy news about one starting in Autumn.

Hell's teeth, 22 years in the Corps, and I never knew that!

The things you learn on this forum make the fee well worth it.
