Mate the the SAS will train you in your specific field of expertise when you pass selection, although you do need to pass a basic first aid test. (This is just going by NZ recruitment and what I've read about 22)

I have passed my basic first aid course in the ATC. Do you mean that or is i more advanced??

Flak jacket?!?!? You can buy weighted jackets, for the very purpose you need. The ones you buy are smaller and wont make you look like an extra for platoon.

Why not try divers' weights wrapped in clothing?
