I second that Loz! :D

Old Saggy Maggie and the Tory party eh ?

Closed stacks of of mines and destroyed 100's of 1000's of peoples way of life.....

Introduced the Poll Tax and couldn't understand why the lower classes were 'upset'

But after all the 100's of f*ck ups, at least she didn't give away FI like I suppose the Labour Party at the time would have done.

I think Patricia Hodge was amazing as 'Old Maggie' (Even if she was missing that permanent facial sneer Maggie possesses)

I particularly enjoyed her 'dressing down' of the yanks - Very entertaining!

But like you said Loz..... 'Hardly controversial'

Was talking to a Matelot a few years back who claims that it was Maggie that ordered the sinking of the Belgrano against Capt. Woodwards advice (something to do with his own moral views apparently) and was ordered to comply or else.

Not putting too much faith in the word of a 'P*ssed' Matelot - anyone hear anything similar ?

There was a big rumour that this was the case and Woodward lost his rag on the phone to her. I doubt either would admit to that, or is it in her new book, I'll tell you soon she's sending me a copy to auction, any ex-miners out there needing expensive bog roll?
I also have Sir John Nott's book to auction, all proceeds to the Fearless campaign.

I have to agree about the play it was realy good, I heard it on saturday last driving in the car, ended up stopping touched all the wrong nerves on that day Fearless would have been sailing out. Thank god I live in the country no good stopping on the high street for a cry.
