Hi,after having been out for 10 years,I was wondering if Booties have finally developed a sence of "fashion"?If we were to go ashore wearing anything other than:DB's-the older looking the better,jeans-faded,T shirt-preferably Hagar the Horrible. In cold weather the obligitory HH was also taken along.Anything else would be considered a sin.So seeing as the Corps is always evolving just wondered about the fashion sense. While we're on the subject of going ashore did the carpet in the Waverely ever get renewed? That thing had so much stale beer & God know's what else,in it.If you fell over it fixed you to the floor like velcro....oh the memories.

your average bootneck is now a fashion victim sorry to have to break this to you there has even been cases of bootnecks ashore in sleeveless t shirts very common in the gay community but dont worry there is still enough of the db wearers around to ridicule them and the waverley has got the same carpet i think you still wipe your feet on the way out anyway its now called odens and they have a door on the shitter a luxery you probably didnt have
all the best hedgie
