Mess uniform badge position help?!?

Hi, I hope some one can help.

I'm ex RAF, but now do alterations and tailoring. Mainly for RAF Lyneham, but today I have a guy came in with his Mess uniform. He's in the army (I don't know which reg, but he's from Hulavington).

And he want's me to fix his uniform, which I'm happy to do and apply his badges.

Now I can't seem to find the army dress regs on Mess (No.5) uniform badge position.

I've got all the ones for the RAF - is it the same. He's a Sgt, and normally one badge would go on the right sleeve 9 1/2" (in the middle of the arm) from the shoulder seam. Is it different to this?

He also has two more badges (lapel/shoulder badges), where do these go?

If anyone has got any written information on this or know what the publication is where I can find the information. Or even does anyone have a mess uniform handy that they can measure the position of the badges and let me know.

He's got a function tomorrow, so I need to get sewing asap.

I am stabbing in the dark here but do the shoulder / lapel badges go on the shoulders and lapels?

I don't know the answer, but if you tell him to arrive a little later than everyone else, they'll be too drunk to notice!
