It is Army run in the main part.

Are you talking about just doing your Drives course there or working there?

Our course took priority over the hundreds of RLC and Int Corps recruits that go there straight after their basic; whether yours is the same I don't know. Basically they all wait in a big hangar all day waiting to be called forward for the next stage of their instruction (from cars all the way through to C+E). They can sit doing nothing for days. We jumped straight to the front of the queue for each phase as soon as we'd passed the previous test.

The camp itself has decent enough facilities, except the grots (which are crap), and Hull's a pretty good run ashore. It is Pusser's as f*^k though, although we got a little more leeway than the Perce recruits - not enough though.

Don't know how applicable that is to your situation; if you're joining as a driver from civvy street you may find yourself caught up with the Perce recruits, in which case take plenty of reading material for days spent waiting!
