Lanyard

Post by Doc »

When I was in the mob, I carried a gerber multi tool on my belt and proffed a lanyard from an oppo that hooked onto a belt loop at one end and my gerber on the other. Just before leaving it went awol.

I am trying to locate another one for use in work. It was made up of green paracord and metal loops/clips. Popular amongst royal in the 90's it was originally something to do with the SLR.

Any Bootnecks have a clue what the fark I am on about or anyone know where to get one?

I sit here in anticipation (as my stockings and thong are in the wash!)

I think it was a pull-through cord from your description.
They came in a can along with some patches and other cleaning stuff.
The couple I've seen were stamped MoD.Field Use Only.(Not the cord, the can, before you get smart)
The SLR and it's brothers and sisters are still popular in the US.
Try, www.gunbroker.com
And look in accessories.

Don't need to be a bootneck to know what you're on about! It's the lanyard which was attached to the arctic muzzle cover for the elephant gun. No idea where you would get one though.

Correct Roops  . It was pushed over the flash-hider to keep the old spindrift out but a letter off the Queen worked just as well
I`ve got the cover but not the lanyard Doc. Can`t you make one out of para-cord then
