Drugs is a bad thing.
Stop using them! :-?

Could a lawyer be a pro boxer?
A farmer..??

Being a soldier has nothing to do with being a great boxer..

Sorry...
If your are a great boxer that can bring UK some glory, i'm sure you can get out of any contract if that's what you mean...

BUT you have to decide NOW...
Boxing or SAS... You can't use SAS as a training-program for becoming a W.C...

Nigel Benn springs to mind, as does Carl Crook and Richard Dunn for a start.

Oy there's nothing wrong with 'King Richard'. He's still a celebrity back home in Yorkshire!

I was a pro before I joined up,Ok 3 fights 3 losses but still. When I went to the AICO they said I would have to complete basic training then I could box pro whilst I was still in the army.Turned out to be a complete load of balls(at that time anyway). Now I coach my units team if we ever get the chance due to ops etc.Pro debut against Dominic Negus sept 3rd 1997 York hall Bethnal green.

Just remember you cannot put muscles on your chin, you cannot buy fitness, and the guy that tells you he is hard isnt really.

Before i went over to the darkside of RMP i was RCT and had this crow called Chris Bessy, he got the usual crow jobs about the vehicle park but progressed to be one of the Army's top boxers at the time, not sure if he ever went pro but god could he punch!

Met a lot of good ARMY boxers but most will stay just that, a good Army boxer.

My old unit was the Sking one and it used to piss us off when they would fly all over the world sking then come back for a month get promoted then fly off again...............no matter how hard i trained i couldn't ski to save my life so was only jealous

Going back to the original question Nigel Benn must be the most famous ex Squaddie turned pro Boxer. I think he was in the Fusiliers.
Im probably wrong but wasnt Aundrey Harison also in the Army, and the one who famously shot Frank Warren
