On January 22 .2003. Kenneth House (PLY/X/113145) passed away at Trowbridge hospital (wiltshire). Will be greatly missed by wife Betty and daughters Kathleen and Patsy. He was in the Marines from 1943 ? untill 1946, He recieved a certificate saying he was present at the surrender of the Japanese Empire to the United Nations at Tokyo Bay . on the second day of September 1945. At that time he was serving on board H.M.S. NEWFOUNDLAND.
