Is anyone here in the RAF police?

Im asking as I've had a look at their careers section and that career appealed to me, but was wondering what it was really like to do the job...not just what they say it's like on their website.

Any feedback would be appreciated, cheers.

Everyone says the RMP have a more hands on side of life (because they're always having to arrest the drunk, solid newbies on camp). They joke that the RAF Police just go round the base, checking doors are locked and windows are shut plus throwing the odd speeding ticket at you when on base. My advice is to ask Goldie Ex RMP.

Spider, every job in either force has just an important role and the Police side of the RAF ARMY and Navy is just that. Remember that any Police force be it civi or Forces get a slagging from those that just don't get it.
They are ex and serving RAFP on here so they will be able to tell you all about the RAFP side of things but as far as the RMP just ask away mate and i will tell all i can but remember i left in 94 or was it 95............where have the years gone :D

Can't say if this will help you if you're looking for specific info but try the Official website of the RMP.

http://www.army.mod.uk/rmp/

If you go looking for an RAF website for the Snowdrops, I'm afraid there's only a forums site :-? . Nothing official. BUT.....because I love helping people.

Check this out:

Hope it helps. :D
