Do the RAF teach you how to drive?

hi i think it depends on what trade you go for. A pharmacy tech that i know had to pay for all his lessons himself!

You need to be able to already drive to join the police section (as far as i know)

Did he do it outside the RAF (driving school) or get in service tutoring? This is where I like the army for one of many reasons- they teach you everything! :)

I was at Fairford this year, had a chat with the army. I was told I'd like RAF more than army because of the accomodation, pay, food, lifestyle. I asked what he meant by lifestyle, he said that in the RAF there is a healthy balance of guys and girls (was he gay?!Bi?! :o ), people don't call you "mate" 24/7-365 days a year, it's a wider social world (I think he meant the whole guys/girls thing again... :o ). I just nodded my head like a good doggy and wondered where he went funny....when....and why. :o

I hate to say this but that is probably more of a reflection on you than any of the armed forces. :o

They are called penguins because they can't fly but want to. It's a common known name used to describe the jealosy of those who work on the ground.
