I am 15 and already been freediving for 3 years. Next year i am going to be doing some freediving courses at hms dolphin or slatfree which is a quary. My question is do the navy use freedivers or not i now that they use scuba but i dont do scuba but im also planing on doing some scuba lessons later on.
Any infomation about freedivers in the navy would be great
thanks.

Divermatt, the answers given are quite correct, RN has no need for freedivers in the sense I presume you meant.
However, the submarine escape training facilities at HMS Dolphin have been available for civilian use for a number of years now. This is the premier inland training location used by UK Freedivers and I think they are all effing nutters!
Mind you, I`d deffo give Tanya Steeter one

I was reffering to Tanya`s diving ability and responding to the following question,
"Marks out of ten, how would you rate Tanya Steeter?"
She`em essence, er, scuse me, back in fifty
