Adopted Doggy

Post by flighty »

L'Artiste and moi are hoping to adopt a doggy. She is currently resident on C Block of Stoke on Trents Dogs' home.

She is a tiny ickle Jack Russell cross and is absolutlely adorable.

Himself will post a pic asap because I am a Luddite. :o

We haven't got a clue what to call her so any suggestions would be welcome.

Aww bless! Good luck and I am sure she is heading for a great home. I had a doggy for a while out here, his owner went into a care home and I had him for a while, called him Arty.

How about calling her Jackie?

Madison

D4 - I know, bad joke!

Marie

I dunno, crap with names!

Too bad it's a she... I'd have recommended calling the dog Manuel Antonio Noriega Maximo Lider Del Pueblo. He was a dog, too.

But then I've always named my pets after dictators...
So how about Mellie, after Imelda Marcos?

Bloody dogs gone ain't it then! Flightys been up to have another gander at it only to find some SWINEs had it away!!!!

They had a Rhodsian Ridgback in one cage. By heck! As you got nearer to it the louder it growled. Poor Owd Flightys face was a right picture when she heard it.

As it was I wanted to call the Doggie Fletch or Oie!

As poor Flighty was so disdraught at finding out that the Ickle Doggie she wanted had been Reserved I decided to get her another one without her knowing. Well I'm that kind of guy you see, all Heart.

Here he is.

He cost Sixty five quid to adopt. They were going to charge me another fifty five quid to remove his Knackers but I assured them that I could do it myself. He yelped a bit but the Owd Wilkie Knife had them off and on the Deck in just under three seconds flat.

I did suggest that we call him Peebles in memory of an unfortunate Yorkshire Terrier I killed entirely by accident a couple of years ago when I reversed over it with the Artmobile but she don't like the name. Shame really but there you go hey? She knows best. Well thats what she said anyway and who am I to argue with a School Teacher with a tendancy to overeact with extreme violence when she don't get her own way (I likes me nadgers).
