Back but defected...............

Hello all, some of you will remember me from a long time ago and some wont know me at all!

Well to those who do remember me, I have defected to the other side....Ive been made to swear an oath of allegiance to 'Per Ardua' yeah yeah yeah 1st Feb 1942, he made me learn that by the end of our first date!

I am now engaged to a Rock who is curently out in Basra.....straight in at the deep end eh? Get engaged in November, off to Basra in January! Whoo Hoo! Still, means I can get on with organising the wedding without him saying 'do we really need that/this/them' every 5 minutes and all I can say is that its a bit of an extreme way to raise the money for the wedding; clearing off to Iraq!

So yes Prez your little newsletter did work, well, it brought back one member of old! Although Im not sure you'll approve of my defection from 'Per Mare Per Terrum' to 'Per Ardua'!!!

Ive already been in 28 months!

Got signed off as a proper copper at the end of September! Nowhere near being a black rat yet, but hey, I ought to actually get the bike out from under the tarpaulin!

Will be a bit odd being PC Shinner instead of PC Bird after November, wonder how many times I will get it wrong before it sinks in!?
