Been busy getting .50 cal rounds down the range in some shitty town in the middle of nowhere!
I will be on R&R soon, so maybe some pics on the way.
One for greenronnie....stag on mate! 2 months, when you were only supposed to be where you are for 2 days!!! (Also, heard you had a little chat with one of my buddies who came to visit)

Op Condor started like this in March 02
viewtopic.php?t=321&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0Hello boys,
Heard the news this morning on the radio that Elmer was announcing an end to hostilities "within twelve hours" and my immediate reaction was "have they told the talliban?" The more I thought about it, the more it sounded like a piece of black propaganda. Then on the car radio tonight came the news that most of us have been expecting since January. What a tremendous compliment from Gen Tommy Franks to ask for Four Five Gp. Seems like they have finally admitted that they don’t do mountains! This is not to take anything away from their effort so far. It is a fact that large tanky type stuff is their forte, preferably in vast expanses of desert. Also, I have always thought they don’t do devolution of command very well and this is why their small unit tactics are poor. If you’ve got so much kit it must be difficult not to use it ( hence tee shirts saying Peace Through Superior Firepower )
The decision to ask for the best M+A.W. troops in NATO, if not the world must have been very hard to announce in the face of American public opinion, and it speaks volumes of their opinion of Royal in general. and Four Five in particular. Any cousins reading this, don’t get a hair up your ass, I`m not taking the piss.
Finally, although we are all very proud, please remember the families at Arbroath. The uncertainty of the last few months has been replaced by an even greater one. God bless all of them.
Your thoughts, please members
yours, Aye Harry Hackedoff

Unlike Ronnie i was busy fighting so i didnt have much time to pose for the camera....i only have 2 phot's of me!
The first pic was taken during a 6 hour contact that we had, defending our compound.
The second pic is after the battle when the adrenaline is finally wearing off

Boxingmad,
Yes the 4 Para boys are getting stuck in as much as the rest of us. I think they are enjoying the experience and im sure they will come back better soldiers, much like the rest of us. The Sarn't Major of 4 Para does alot of work in the Ops room, so i get to see him quite a bit and talk to him. Made me a brew couple of times aswell.
Picked out some more Afghan action shots for all you spotters out there
Enjoy
PS im not in any of them

Come on the sigs...
