aye it has, theres always the small chance they could come up with some evidence but its looking very slim at the moment, maybe i could claim "loss of earnings"? provided i get off with it, me mams been nagging at me about it, because i've not been able to start RT due to this court case, anyone?

Definitely, if you're not working at the moment. Get a signed letter from your AFCO basically saying you were due to start training on this date, but were unable to until this case had been resolved. Get them to include the Recruit standard rate of pay. Your lawyer should be able to do the rest.

Could be more trouble than its worth. WOuldn't you prefer to put it behind you and go into RT?

i'd go with druadan.
The lawyer will do all your dirty work for you, all you have to do is start the ball rolling. I wouldn't imagine that if you were to go for loss of earnings, the AFCO would say the case is still to be resolved and so not let you start RT. If it doesn't stop you then you have nothing to lose. Who knows, it could all turn into a nice little earner

Good points regarding the loss of earnings, if i wouldn't have to go back to court if i were to claim loss of earnings and it was done all through my solicitor then i'd do it, definitely, provided i had a good chance of getting it.
Other than that, its going to be a long 7/8 weeks till the next court date. In good spirits about it all now, so it'l be worth the wait

means more time to get fit as f*ck before RT

Got off with it!!
The police have lost the receipt, so the prosecution decided to drop the case, woo!
Happy days, someone is celebrating on the weekend.
