Hello neil1955,

I believe the 2000ft mentioned by the member of the RAF was used only as an example regarding time of flight, so as to speak.
More to emphasis the difference between the two mottoes, Knowledge Dispels Fear and A Little Knowledge is a Dangerous Thing.

Knowledge Dispels Fear is the motto of No 1 parachute training squadron RAF, and that just goes to show how mutch they know i was scared evrey time, those that are not and there are some( but not many ) are a danger to those around them. Fear keeps you on you ALERT and ALIVE.

Kiel canal. I was in 3 para when that particular Crab Air **** UP took place. I was on the exorcise but we air landed fortunatly. Crab Air blamed the Boxhead who was supposed to stop shipping on the canal, he later topped himself. Gaurds independant were the pathfinders in those days a role now carried out by para reg .....

It is now over ten days since certain points were put to 'b of m', since then he has avoided committing himself.

His post are very much in the same format as 'hawkeye' and 'sc**2' in that he likes to give the impression that he was a member of the SBS.

Like them his little knowledge shows him up as another 'Walter'.

No doubt another name change is in order and the next one will go the same way.

Further to the parts of selection that both 'hawkeye' and 'sc**2' failed and also 'b of m':

Resistance to Interrogation
Escape and Evasion

I believe we should also add;

Navigation ( sc**2 !! )
Survival

All of them it would seem failed the 'boating phase' with flying colours.

With an 'active former member of the SBS' in the forum why do they even bother.

'Active former member of the SBS', I trust that is correct to state---'H', Sneaky.

What is a 'port and starboard' and mind the 'steaming lights'! :drinking:

Have you ever seen a Red Cap with short trousers when working? NO, because that would show the Jackboots. When on parade they have their trousers extra short just to destroy the myth:

0845: Fall-in, dress: Number 1's Short long trousers, normal boots that everyone else wears, NOT (R) NOT the usual jackboots.
Bugger and i was trying to hide my ss runes well under my black...oops i mean brown issue tie...........i would have got away with it if it wasn,t for those pesky kids

goldie ex rmp wrote:god life is so simple with the ROYAL MILITARY POLICE i dont get many walters on my site lol................wonder why
We have that same problem Goldie, I've been online 4 years and only found my first pretend ATO the other day, he's so much fun I've not even told him he's rumbled. Better yet is all his chat about "security and not being able to tell me..."

Just a point that my better half raised (she's something else when it comes to shredding heads so I stay on her good side)
She taught me to ask questions based on complete lies, when said wally attempts to answer you out him, and have given away nothing useful for his next attempt.
I've read the threads, was based at Hereford, and still dont know if there was a boathouse!!!

So for all those budding wallys out there...

And can anyone tell me the calibre of the Browning 12.7mm pistol???
