When on holiday in oz few years back there was a huge spider on the wall which I was told not to kill as it was a good one and ate the bad ones, it was also just a baby I was informed, didn’t look like one to me as it was near the size of my hand!!! didn’t sleep at all that night...

I thought looking at pictures of clostridial gas gangrene complicating a compound fracture were awful but the Brown Recluse arachnid is worse. :o
In my close proximity the spider get a heavy whack of my shoe. :)

Please spare the spiders in the UK - they eat all those 'orrible flies for us!

UK spiders can't bite (humans) apart from the woodlice- eating spider which needs to be able to penetrate their tough 'skin'. One had a nip at my daughter a few weeks ago. Hurt a little bit but nothing unbearable. And it'a v.rare thing.

things swimming in yer nob, bugs climbing into yer ear that rot your brain, worm colonies in the throat, mad large spiders
