There are physical weaknesses in women compared with men, skeletal structure being the main one (wider hips = more likely to get damaged, and generally lighter frame). It is however the case as I said before that given some women will have abnormally strong frames as much as some men have, that isn't an issue with regards to SF selection.
Though don't forget that in at least a couple of psychological areas women have on average been more capable than men... And they do enjoy other advantages too you know
