Well. Just trying to be charitable.

I tend to look at things and think 'is it really that bad?. Is there possibly another way to see this? What I don't get is if he really is as bad you say, how does someone like that get to be where he is? I really don't think that would happen here., although can't say for sure of course, but we tend to have quite good b/s detectors when it comes to most things, especially politicians.

You're right. It's inches, not centimeters.

I do unfortunately think things are that bad... as to how he got there, it's because of us. We voted stupid consistently for over a century... and here we are.

To put this thread back on track...

Looks like the peanut gallery has it in for George DUBIYA Bush. Problem is...besides having a public speech impediment, i can't find any other reason to think he's stupid. All of his homeland work i agree with (especially on abortion and stem cell research).

You know its funny listening to you guys. Did you know that the great Claudius also had a speech impediment?? He stammered and couldn't speak and people made fun of him for it, literally mocked him behind his back.

If your Jewish or Christian, the founder of the 10 Commandments also had a problem talking, he even asked God himself if he could be given a speaker, ala Aaron.

It's ridiculous to postulate that he 'inadvertently and subconsciously' MEANT what he said. Gimme a break.

Like it or not Dubya is a hell of alot better than the competion. So what will you do now? Oh i like this one "Im a registered independent, i vote for neither"...right, i thought America is a country of patriots??!

The least you could do is vote for the lesser of the evils, because i myself don't beleive Dubya is a bastion of hope.

One of the reasons i myself won't go against em is cause i wouldn't dare being identified with the anti-bush, 'metrosexual', Moorite, etc etc crowd.

You guys vote that snivelling weasel Kerry into office, you deserve everything you get.

And hey, if you want a populace that doesn't give two hoots about what goes on in office, come on down to Soviet Canuckistan, you'll love it!!

We were circling back Redhand, I promise.

I don't know Herc what you mean by voting stupid. I actually think stupid is the least of our worries. It is the venal, the self serving and the conniving that's the problem. It seems that the whole system rewards those who behave like this, and in fact makes it impossible to 'succeed' unless you do. I don't think they could get where they are if they were merely stupid. Unless Bush is just a figurehead being manipulated behind the scenes.

That brings something else to my attention that the hard left drone on about:

1. Bush is evil, conspires with saudis for his own personal and family gain...

2. Bush conspires along with Tom Ridge to keep America locked down in a state of fear...

3. Bush is incredibly dumb, literally a slow human being

I mean its like, what else could he possibly be?

Oh right,

4. He and his administration are too sympathetic towards Israel...

So, umm, wouldn't #4 clash with #1..??

And, umm wouldn't #2 clash with #3..??

Umm, err, hmm....hmmmmmmm

Redhand, you're veering awfully close to bumper sticker thinking. Be for Bush if you want, but come on how about putting the third digit of your I.Q. into play here? It's really hard to debate with a 6" x 2-1/2" adhesive-backed vinyl strip. Too much like watching the news here in the good ol' U S of A.

If it's such a hairbrained post with low IQ, just answer the question.

Point is, the left hate Bush no matter what he does, what he says. Your just jumpin on the bandwagon by sayin he's stupid, which is about as bumper sticker culture as you can get.

A speech impediment is entirely different from not having the mental resources to structure ideas and sentences. It does sound like you are in bumper sticker territory; "the left hate Bush no matter what he does, what he says" is a fine example of that - although you would need a long bumper, admittedly.

K, first off, give me an example of how Bush can not form proper thought. Your not an expert, and you won't be able to, but alas, try atleast...

Secondly, the only bumper stickers i have seen in relation to Dubya have been left leaning ones.

What im loving here is how neither of you can actually properly respond to my post with the 1,2,3,4.

All im saying is, those are four of the main accusations shot at Dubya...they don't add up because they contradict each other...simple now? So, instead of going on bout bumper stickers and whatnot...lemme know how im wrong.

There are whole websites devoted to the products of Dubya's feeble mind, some of which can be found through links on this site. Bush does not have a speech impediment; he can produce speech sounds perfectly well. His problem is those sounds often do not represent coherent or logical ideas.
As for your "1, 2, 3, 4"s; who came up with them? Are they quotes? As written they are almost indefensible but then since you wrote them, that's pretty understandable. Post the actual criticisms and we'll make progress. You've said nothing of value so far.

I already said forget 1,2,3,4...and yes, that's me, not a quote. But i hate to say it buddy, but you still haven't given me an answer to those accusations. You can drop all the subtle/arrogant English insults you want my way, makes ya feel better, keep doin it.

If its so indefensible, defeat it, counter it with what you've got. Also, i could care less who posted what about bush, i want YOU to give me something.

Did you watch his last press conference? Didn't think so.
