The Reason the Hurricane had more kills than the Spitfire was the fact there was a damn sight more of them than Spitfires. Even the Germans
would always claim they were shot down by a Spitfire rather than hurricanes as the Germans thought the Hurricane was inferior to the Spitfire.

As I remember from a recent documentary , the 109 engines were a copy of the Merlin engine, which as we are wont do for some reason the British sold to German before ww2. Saying that Bob is a damm good film, but so is, we were soldiers and young then. Funny how us old soldiers
