Just been for my first run in two months after picking up a knee injury at footie. It was terrible! Knackered after 10 minutes and didn't run half as far as usual. The next three months are going to be hard work!

I run 1.5 miles in around 10:30 - 10:40 proberly less if I push myself.

What is the max time allowed for a male?

If you stop is that it or if you stop but carry on is it allowed?

Times depend on what you are applying for but with 10:30 you should be more than fine for the army corps of music. But obvisouly the better the time the better the grade etc..

NEVER stop, keep going even if your jogging at a snail pace. If you stop you could be failed, there wanting to see effort mate.

I used to run my 1.5 at about 10:30 too mate. At ADSC I ran it in 11:30 and I was nowhere near last so you should be fine. Stopping is a big no-no though. A couple of lads got sent home for it. Even if you think your lungs are going to fall out just keep moving, push yourself that little further, it's only a mile and a half so you'll know youre always near the end!
