Mercury don't change the subject to something so useless an pointless of an RAF cook! OK, Back to the topic. I was wondering If the test is grueling ay??? Because If you think running 8 miles in 45 mins is not tough I am starting to think the forum is crazy, just because me and everyone here can't do that does not mean Spetsnaz personnel can't do it. With no rest try and move to the assault course which lasts for 30 mins which is comprised of god knowns what, remember no rest is given apart from the transfer to courses which is about 10-20 secs! :-? Then a 12 minute fight or should I say brawl. If any of you can do that, why not apply?? If you say it's not grueling then it should'nt be a problem, ay???

I always thought the Spetsnaz were hard cause they were Russians,
perhaps I should re-evaluate my system of measure 'hardness?'

Whats all this obsession everyone has with 'the best'

stick a Spetsnaz team against a Leopard 2.

Bollox to that I'll take the tank, hell you can probably run it off the same crap them russians drink :drinking: .

RAF cook pointless? Well In knifes defence all service chefs in the UK are pointless to me as Im off to Russia to join up. After your riveting posts of "the best" Ive decided to pack it all in, dump the missus, sell the cat and leg it to Russia. But edging on the side of caution Ive booked my return flight 3 hours later than after Ive landed. That should enable me to squeeze the selection in and abit of scran. I´ll report to you all on my return how it goes. Maybe see you there knife, I´ll take it you´ll be the one with the small penis protruding from your large forehead.

Well Im back, I failed the medical....bastards! They found a brain in my skull and also decided using Hitec silver trainers was a form of cheating and speaking to knife was a form of doping! But Im asking Camtech for a proper translation there as I think they maybe referring to the fact that knife is a dope?

Doc, your quite funny. I know the importance of the Cooks in the military but why bring it into a special forces board?? I am no Idiot, you would not make it through your 2 year satisfactory service in the army, you need to have already don't selection but you still don't get in. You need the recomendation of a serving officer in your unit to be accepted. It is clear from your sarcasm that you neither respect these men nor appreciate them as allies. Far enough, your just not capable of performing to this standard! leave me alone I just cam here to help members understand thir selection methods.

Knife - let the moderators decide when a thread has gone off the subject, in the meantime, sort out your spelling/grammar/punctuation/attitude...
You really aren't doing yourself any favours at the moment. These guys have a lot to teach you, if you have the guts to listen to them.

You brought the subject of cooks up by calling them pointless!
I am no Idiot,
Yes you are!
you would not make it through your 2 year satisfactory service in the army,
REALLY? Now what was I doing in all that Green kit? Thats right I was Navy not Army.
It is clear from your sarcasm that you neither respect these men nor appreciate them as allies.
The Russians are Allies now are they? When did they join NATO?
Far enough, your just not capable of performing to this standard!
So when did you pass selection?
leave me alone I just cam here to help members understand thir selection methods.
Well your doing a crap job at it, maybe goto MilitaryForums Russia and advise Russian teenagers on the process as I doubt anyone on these forums are considering a career in Spetnaz, so stop comparing something you´ve only read in books or on the net as its not impressive.
You really are a sad little man if you think anyone will look you to you for guidance and military advice when you see the quality and history and morale substance of the real people who are offering advice from actual experiences and service done.

You might like to actually give advise instead of saying you have some, share all of it unless it is secure or something. If you think Spetznaz selection is not impressive then........... Don't be a fool, an SAS trooper would have an extremely hard time to do it.(Off topic) I once met a fool on Gamefaqs board and he said Green Berets are pale in comparison to the SAS, I just ROFL Everybody agreed with him, because they were all yanks. So, do you agree with them???? I was wondering if any of you have advice for me, for selection for the SAS, the welsh phase preferably, all the fitness stuff before Pipeline??

Yeah, about 99.99% of the posts there are utter crap... as are the people who make the posts. You know, one of those places you might find thirteen year old Vietnam veterans.
