Everyone knows a moderate Muslim or two.

And the fact is that the top dog (Ayatollah) for the World's Islam is in Iran, a singularly extreme and totalitarian society, with nothing but Islamic law and from whence all fatwahs and jihads eminate. As long as extremists are at the decision-making hub of this religion, I most certainly WILL say that I am anti-Moslem. They are singularly intollerant, expansionist, brutal, and anti-integration.

And some of us know dozens - maybe over a hundred. I've found them to be humble, friendly and embarrasingly generous. It is NOT the fact that the top dog for the 'World's Islam' is in Iran. He's a Shi'ite. No Sunni would accept him as their leader. And this is the major problem when discussing Islam/Muslims: people base their views on what they 'think' is 'truth' - usually based on what the Tabloids put out.

Yes, the extremists are as you say. However, many Muslims - most - are singularly not intolerant, expansionist, etc...
